I have gotten several FEMA online certifications from several folks and I appreciate your drive to do more! If you have any questions or need any help with the online trainings, please let me know.

Great meeting last week! I want to thank Stat Care for coming out and helping us brush up on our medical triage and treatment skills and also working with us on the transition from CERT care to EMS care.

I have only received one nomination since the last meeting! I need your nominations for board members!!!!! This is YOUR team so I need YOUR input on who you want representing YOU! Self-nominations are strongly encouraged and welcomed. Who knows what you are capable of more than YOU! I need those nominations for President, Vice-President and Secretary.

I also need some assistance with the phone tree entries. If you have some extra time and are familiar with Excel, I NEED YOU!

If you have had time to review the Emergency Operations Plan/Standard Operating Procedures and have any input, I need that information as well. I would like to get this finalized by the end of this month!

Have you been watching the weather lately? Hurricane season is really getting geared up!! Be sure to check your disaster supplies, review your evacuation plan, have necessary medications on hand and let me know where you are available to assist. Remember: Pick your location and assignment now before things get crazy! See the attached list for positions available.

If there is a threat of a storm, I will send out a notice requesting your plans to evacuate, if any, and a good contact number so we can keep you informed of CERT activities and also be aware of who is available to assist!

I look forward to hearing from you!

 -Rachel
